Coming Together for Excellence in Entrepreneurship Education

Calling all entrepreneurship educators!

If you have always wanted to meet fellow entrepreneurship educators as well as industry leaders in various fields from all over the country so you can share ideas and skills to improve your curriculum, then this is your chance. Come join Entrepreneurship Educators’ Association of the Philippines, Inc. (ENEDA).

ENEDA is a non-stock, non-profit professional organization composed of the nation’s leading colleges, entrepreneurship educators and entrepreneurs. It seeks to promote excellence in entrepreneurship education in the country. It recognizes the need for entrepreneurship educators and entrepreneurs from all over the country to come together and share ideas to raise the level of academic standards.

“As a professional organization registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission and recognized by the Commission on Higher Education, we are committed to assist our members composed of academic institutions and educators towards efficient and effective teaching,” says Maria Luisa B. Gatchalian, NCR president. “Members will learn relevant skills and knowledge through seminars, conferences, and workshops. The general assembly which was concluded last September 1 2007 at Miriam College saw the birth of the ENEDA NCR Chapter. It will be one of the many ENEDA chapters that will be created in order to make good with the urgent call to educate and create a culture of entrepreneurship in order to generate employment and wealth in its proper sense.

“With the state of our economy is in now, more than ever, we need entrepreneurs, not just employees, to create jobs and opportunities. Even the government recognizes this with its thrust towards entrepreneurship. And this is where ENEDA helps. Together, we can professionalize entrepreneurship education,” adds Gatchalian.

Log on to www.eneda.org for more details on how to join. ENEDA also welcomes institutional membership from colleges and universities offering Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing and Accountancy.
